هفته گذشته سخنرانی آقای نتانیاهو در کنگره آمریکا (1) بر توافق احتمالی ایران و آمریکا متمرکز بود (2). همه گونه برخوردهای مخالف و موافق با اظهارات آقای نتانیاهو در مطبوعات آمریکا، ایران و جهان منتشر شده است (3).
اما اصل بحث آقای نتانیاهو که نه موافقان و نه مخالفان می توانند در آن تردیدی داشته باشند این موضوع بود که جمهوری اسلامی ایران خطری جدی برای موجودیت اسراییل است.
صرف نظر از اینکه موضع دولت آمریکا امروز در مورد آقای نتانیاهو چه باشد، و جدا از آنکه نامه اخیر سناتورهای آمریکایی را به آیت الله خامنه ای درست بدانیم یا نادرست، موضوع وحشت اسراییل از ایران مسأله ساز است و متأسفانه دولت آقای حسن روحانی نتوانسته است این ترس را که عامل اصلی تنش آفرینی است، برطرف کند. حتی اکثریت اپوزیسیون مستقل ایران متأسفانه هنوز در محدوده نقطه نظراتی هستند که نیم قرن حاصلی جز تنش زایی نداشته است (4).
راه های بی حاصل 50 سال گذشته تکرار می شود که نتوانسته دردی را دوا کند و گرچه هر از چندگاهی بنظر می رسد یک کفه ترازو سنگین تر گشته، اما دیری نمی پاید که کفه دیگر سنگین می شود و مشکل همچنان باقی است. تنها راه رسیدن به برخوردی متعادل به اسراییل و فلسطین دیدن مسأله از زاویه ای نوین است. آنچه دستکم در 8 سال گذشته مورد بحث مشخص قرار گرفته اما شوربختانه با بی اعتنایی روبرو می شود (5).

Last week, Netanyahu's speech at the US Congress (1) was focused on US-Iran Deal (2). All kinds of pro and con arguments about Mr. Netanyahu's views were published in the US, Iranian and world press (3).
But the main discussion of Mr. Netanyahu that neither those who agreed with him nor the opponents can have any doubt about was the issue that Islamic Republic of Iran is a serious threat to the existence of Israel.
Regardless of the position of US government about Mr. Netanyahu today, and regardless of whether one considers sending the subsequent letter of US Senators to Ayatollah Khamene'i to be right or wrong, the fear of Israel is creating problems for Iran and unfortunately Mr. Hassan Rouhani's government has not been able to assuage this fear which is the main factor in creating tensions. Even the majority of Iran's independent opposition, unfortunately, still are limited to views that have resulted in nothing but more tensions in the last half century (4).
The useless paths of the last 50 years that have not solved anything are repeated and although every once in a while one side of the balance seems to be tilted but it is not long before the other side gets heavy again and the problem remains the same as always. The only way to achieve a balanced approach to Israel and Palestine is to view the issue in a new way. At least for 8 years the new approach has been specifically discussed but unfortunately it is being ignored (5).
Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
