Dear Friends in Iran's pro-democracy movement,
I have written extensively in Persian and English about separatism in Iran:

http://www.ghandchi.com/723-kurdistan-autonomy-eng.htm
In another article in Persian I
have explained in details why separatism is the enemy of democracy in Iran and
should be condemned:
Personally I reject ethnic federalism as a reactionary
roadmap towards breakup of Iran but support provincial federalism because I see the latter to be useful for
the growth of democracy in Iran:
But the separatist cults' issue
is not democracy and democratic administration of Iran. They want to separate a
piece of Iran in Azerbajian, Kurdistan, Khouzestan, Baluchestan or even
Mazandaran or Glian by foreign help. These cults have no support among the
Iranian people, and
for receiving foreign assistance, they rely on the support of US neocons.
It is time to send an open letter to President Obama to request that the U.S. stop all assistance to Iran's separatists and to indicate that the separatist cults have no relation to Iran's pro-democracy movement and their activities are against the growth of democracy in Iran.

Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
